hey guys the closest thing to a proper announcer for LoL is probably Colbycheeze, if you don't know him he has a website and a youtube channel. He has done various alternative streams for the tournaments.
ReplyDeleteNo sound booth this time, you can hear a bit of static?
ReplyDeleteNot sure what that is...I believe it's on Autech's end.
ReplyDeletelol autech time to get egg carton wallpapers! :)
ReplyDeleteLol sorry about the poorer audio quality of this episode compared to our others, its the first made in our home setup and we are still working out the kinks sound wise. Next episode should be way better audio wise.
ReplyDeleteGreat podcast, sounds good that you're getting the new setup done.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you guys think of the championship games? I think that the last game was one of the best played, but I still think my #1 moment was when Shushei (spelling?) flashed over the wall near the end of Epik vs. Fanatic and they basically triple killed them in their base with no losses.
Also, I just wanted to ask you guys if you would be interested in an exhibition game in the near future. I'm looking for people to play on Custom Games with Spectator Mode once it comes out, and I'd really like to get some people together that could play a game and I could commentate (this is Salts, from about 12 episodes ago, by the way).
Man, was this championship fun. Shushei without a doubt was the MVP of this tourny. Of course he couldn't of done it without his team behind him, but most of his play was flawless. I think one game they banned Gragas, Anivia and Alistar. All of which Shushei played. Seems to me like they were trying to shut Fnatic's star player down. As for the custom games, yeah I think we'd definitely be down. Just hit us up in game or something.
ReplyDeleteAmazing matches for sure, the finals was awesome, even got to see a base race!!!
ReplyDeleteJust figured out the recording issues, the next podcast will sound pristine :)
ReplyDeleteShuShei is the best player in the world, hands down. I'm a huge fanboy, especially because I used to use Gragas before I hit 30 and went in ranked. I've started using him again after deamhack though, heh.
ReplyDeleteYou must discuss the secret Kayle changes: did she get her grove back? Why was it secret?
ReplyDeleteHey all, been a listen for a long time but first time to comment. Great show, yada yada fanboyisms, etc (no really, you guys are a great podcast).
ReplyDeleteSo I wanted to ask your opinion about this idea I have been mulling over. I have about 6 pages of thought into it but the tl;dr of it is that I think tying last hitting to earning gold is archaic and, like denying, should be done away with. What do you think?
Before I get blasted please understand I do enjoy last hitting but it is one of the mechanics that makes the early game "stale" as so many people complained during Dreamhack. Giving gold like xp will allow for more early game harassment and fun. Yes, I know it is another mechanic to separate good players from great (insert recent Vman7 rant here) but there are plenty of other reasons HotshotGG is top 5 and I am top 1000000. Like I said, I do understand many ramifications of this such as the fact that it is a huge global nerf to ad carries and, in particular, champs like Tristana/Vlad. However, I think that overall the game would be more more playable for newbs and more fun for everyone. Thanks.
